Who We Are

Established in March 2024 to help address the high prevalence of mental health concerns in Singapore, SHAW Studios aims to strengthen mental wellbeing, social connection and healthy ageing through evidence-based arts and heritage practices.

We bring together artists, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, community partners, philanthropists and corporate leaders to strengthen the field of creative health and contribute to a more holistic approach to wellbeing. We deliver multi-disciplinary programmes, develop capabilities, generate and share evidence, build stronger referral pathways between healthcare, social and community services, and create opportunities for different sectors to learn, collaborate and innovate together.

Through research, data and practice, we hope to build the credibility and understanding needed to support the wider adoption of creative health and contribute to a more connected and person-centred healthcare ecosystem in Singapore.

Our Vision

We envision a future where creative healthcare complements clinical care, mental wellbeing is nurtured throughout life, and everyone has access to inclusive, culturally responsive and non-stigmatising pathways to health, healing and belonging.
